About
Eleanor has a significant international and national reputation in arts education, with a strong belief in linkage partnerships and research. Her commitment to learning enterprise and pedagogical development is empirical to her passion for teaching and learning, particularly in the cultural and creative sector and the alliance of commercial business industries. She played a major part in the Australian Science Festival 2010 as the Deputy Director.
Eleanor, a Fellow of the Australian National University 08 09 (ANU) and Visiting Researcher at National ICT Australia (NICTA) 08-11 is also
a PhD researcher at the National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science (CPAS) at the ANU.
Eleanor’s interests firmly cross-over arts, science, communication and media. A prolific artist, having received numerous awards, grants, and commissions in her career. Eleanor maintains an active international artistic profile continuing her own research and roles such as curator and director of media arts events in the UK, USA, Taiwan and Australia.
Eleanor is an honorary Research Professor at the University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC) having successfully completed an International Residency at UCSC and exhibition of her 'Finger Codes' Collection.
Currently, Eleanor is the Science Art Fellow at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) - Australia's premier scientific research and technology organisation. She has also been awarded the Centenary of Canberra Science Art Commission that is supported by the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Government and the Australian Government.

StellrScope will be completed in 2013 and displayed at Questacon and the CSIRO Discovery Centre in Canberra.
