About
I am currently in the final year of my PhD in Clinical Psychology. I am broadly interested in the effects of hurt feelings upon relationships; specifically I examined factors that influence their development for my first studies. In the remainder of my project I am focusing more specifically on the effect of attachment on the experience of hurtful events.
I am also interested in other negative emotions in romantic relationships: for my Honours thesis I studied factors that influence how prone individuals are to sexual or romantic jealousy.
Prior to my PhD, I completed a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) with First Class Honours and a Bachelor of Science majoring in evolutionary biology at the Australian National University.
